We are independent
Simply Pass is an independent practice product. It is not made, approved, endorsed or checked by the Home Office, by UK Visas and Immigration, by The Stationery Office (TSO), or by any other part of the UK government. We have no agreement with any of them.
We do not book tests
We do not book the Life in the UK test, we do not take the test fee, and we cannot change a booking, a result or an application. The only place to book the test is the government's own page:
https://www.gov.uk/life-in-the-uk-test
The government sets the fee, and the page shows the current fee. Please check it there.
Our questions are our own
Every question on Simply Pass is in our own words. We base them on the topics in the published handbook, "Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents", and from public government information. We do not use or copy the real test questions, and we do not copy the text or pictures of the handbook. Our questions are not the questions in your test. They cover the same topics, at a similar level. That is what practice is.
Names belong to their owners
"Life in the UK test" and the name of the handbook are used here only to say which test you are practising for. There is no other way to tell you. We use no logo, crown, royal arms or design of the government or of any publisher. The names belong to their owners.
What we do, and what decides your result
We write every question in our own words from the topics of the handbook, check it against the handbook, and fix it fast when someone reports a mistake. If you pass 10 full mock tests in a row with us and still fail the real test, our pass guarantee gives you free practice until you pass.
We do not publish a pass rate, because we would need proof before we show one. The real test, its fee and its pass mark are set by the government, and your result depends on your own study.
Check the government source
The government can change the test, the handbook, the fee and the pass mark at any time. We read the government pages and update ours when they change. We can still miss a change, so before you book or sit the test, read the government page: https://www.gov.uk/life-in-the-uk-test. Where the government's words and ours differ, trust the government.
This is practice, not a course
Simply Pass is practice material. It is not a course or a class. It gives no certificate, and it does not count towards any application.
Tell us when we are wrong
A wrong question is worse than a hard one. Every question has a report button. You can also write to [email protected] and we read every report.
